BL-NK was the last project I did in my third year of university. It was to redesign an exisiting abandoned office block in the shoreditch area. This proposal was a modern day herbalist that distilled its own oils on site and offered workshops in teaching the public on how to mix oils for both cosmetic and holistic reasons. One of its main features was the large copper smell pipes that surrounded the building that could move in the wind. These pipes were made of copper. They were situated in the herb garden and allowed you to smell what the oil of the plant next to it smelled like, in order for you to chose what oil to buy in the shop that sold oils that had been distilled in the building.
